I would be happy to post some pictures but our digital camera took a dump at one of the most important times of the year. Nathanael's Kindergarten graduation, Naomi's talent show, our visit w/ Ani. So just some updates here, school is out now has been about a week and a half. There has been a lot of fighting in the house so I have tried to think of ways to keep the kids apart but still give them some of their own attention but I think once we get into the swing of summer they will be much better. I remember last year at this time how they fought and once summer got going they were better and more used to being around each other more. Let's start with Naarah we will go from the bottom up. Naarah has been very cute lately she is definitely changing and growing like a weed. She has an amazing vocabulary. She loves to sing her abc's and loves to count to 30 =). She is growing up way to fast seems like just the other day she was a baby screaming in my arms every night before she went to bed now we are getting ready to move her to a twin bed. Sad time for mommy. Nathanael: He finished kindergarten this year and is going to have my favorite 1st grade teacher. He did a great job in Kindergarten and found out that he is very good at math also. Seems I have a bunch of math nerds on my hands. It makes me very happy since I did not do good and did not like math at all. Nathanael is reading now and has a favorite book called Missal Mouse. He started baseball last week and has gotten some really great hits and has made it on base with all his hits except the very first one of the season, so he is having a lot of fun and so am I watching him. Noah: finished 2nd grade with flying colors. He also got an O for outstanding in Math and also spelling. The rest of his grades were awesome also. So proud. He was supposed to start baseball last week but his first game got rained out and now this week he chose to go w/ Ani to my parents house and spend some extra time w/ Jonathan and Jansen and Ani also gets to see Grandma which is a plus for him. I have to say, I am a bit surprised that he chose to miss baseball. I guess his priorities might be changing a little bit the older he gets. Noah is going to be going to church camp in August with Naomi. It will be his first experience with camp so he is a bit nervous but I know he will have a good time once it starts. Naomi: did a great job in school this year, every quarter she got straight A's which I am very proud of, she was in advanced reading and she also was in advanced math this year again so she finished 5th grade math in 4th grade and now in 5th grade she will be working on 6th grade math, not sure how much more I can help her after this. So we had some pretty interesting news come our way last week in that her dance teacher decided to close down the dance studio for at least a year since she and her sister are both going to be having babies around the same time this fall. So now we are trying to figure out what to do about that. Last year was her first year of competition and she really loved it. There are a few studios around the area but all of them mean that I would have to drive (yucky). So I really have to send out some emails to these studios and find out what might be best for Naomi, I also don't want to just wait a year because what if they don't open up the studio next year either? So I have some research to do quickly. Chris and I are doing well. Enjoyed the time that I got to spend with my sister and her family. Looking forward to preparing for her wedding. Very happy for her. Chris and I are just plugging along in jobs and life. We have a few things planned with the kids for the summer. Going to the Tony Stewart/Matt Kenseth race at MIS in a couple weeks. Also Freedom Fest and then Great America. Naomi and Noah both go to church camp in August so that should be fun for them. The kids also have vacation bible school the beg. of August. That is the Hionis update hopefully there will be pictures soon, we ordered a new digital camera so hope it is here in time for all the fun. =)
