Nathanael's 6th Birthday Party

Proud Mom

So Naomi continues to make me proud expecially since I was never really that great in school and didn't really like it so much.
We just received her test scores in the mail for her WKCE testing(which is the state test to find out how your child is doing). She blew my mind. She was advanced in every subject tested except Science which she was only 10 points away from being advanced in. She scored in the 92% in the state for Math, 98% in the state for Language Arts, 94% for Math, 64% for Science, and 90% for Social Studies. For her extended writing test she scored a 6 out of 9. Please don't mind that I am bragging about her and Noah and Nathanael's grades and tests when it happens, I want them to know how proud I am of them and I want every one else to know how proud I am of them. They all work very hard and are very good students. I am not saying that is going to be the case forever so I need to do my bragging now. Who knows maybe it will continue but I know I just really didn't like school and subjects and homework so I am glad they do right now. Try to keep that going as long as possible. I just can't believe that she is almost done with the 4th grade already. All to soon she will be in Jr. High. =(

Naarah Sleeping

So this was a great story. I put it up on my FB page but had to put the picture and story here on the blog.
One day I came home from work and Naarah was loud and just having a good time so I started to check my email and FB and
of coarse she took off her jammies (she does not keep them on very much anymore) and then was running around, all the sudden I realized it had gotten very quiet. So when I looked back I saw a lump on the couch and went over to see and she was asleep and had covered herself up and was taking a nap. It was the cutest thing and I had to capture it on camera because it is also a very rare occasion that she would actually put herself to sleep if she even sleeps anymore.

Naarah at 26 months. Man time has gone really fast. She is becoming more and more of a little girl then a toddler. =(
