To wrap up Naarah's 10 month birthday we went to the Jack O Lantern Jamboree. The kids get to dress up in their costumes so Naarah was a monkey. Auntie Nickie bought her the outfit so she could be just like Parker (the REAL monkey of the Hionis side of the family).

NAARAH TURNS 10 MONTHS!
Wow how time flies just like with Naomi, Naarah is going to be 9 years old before I know it. She has been going everywhere in the house now. She really likes to try and crawl up the stairs now so we in the last month have had to get out the baby gate again. It is hard getting used to this stage again. It had been a couple of years since Nathanael was needing a baby gate or having to watch and make sure all the doors are closed. However her favorite thing to do besides stairs seems to be turning off the power strip for our computers. I swear when we keep her from that she finds the little button my computer and still tries to turn it off that way and only when I am right in the middle of something. But she is getting very fun none the less. She is also starting to stand up on her own now for an extended period of time. However she really doesn't seem to interested in really walking yet since she can get to where she needs to go faster by crawling. So for her 10 month birthday we went to the pumpkin patch with Grandma. She did really well for about an hour and then it was time to go.

Here are more pictures from the pumpkin patch that I promised I would get on here. Not to far behind. I am darn proud of myself this time. Just wait until after Halloween, hopefully I will not wait until Christmas to post those pictures. Each of the kids got to pick their own pumpkin from the patch and even though Nathanael is not the smallest anymore he picked the smallest pumpkin.

NAOMI TURNS 9
Ok so my little girl is 9 already. I can't believe how time flies. Her birthday was Oct. 7th and the friday after that was Homecoming here. So what did we do?? She wanted to have a sleepover so she had 3 friends over and we all went to the Homecoming game. It was very packed and a little chilly toward the end but we survived and then everyone had to pee. Boy that was interesting since we only have one bathroom in this house. I have never had so many girls lined up for the bathroom before. Noah just decided to go outside behind the tree. Wish sometime I could do that. I will probably wish that a lot more when Naarah gets older and both the girls start having to primp themselves.

Here is a couple pictures of each of the boys playing soccer this year. Nathanael loved it. It was his first year. Noah on the other hand did really well but he is stuck on a team with mostly girls who like to just sit around and do nothing. And all the sudden Noah is all about sleeping in. He wasn't when we signed up for soccer but he is now. So we had some hard Sat. mornings getting up at 7:00am for the 8:00am game. That sometimes was even to early for mom. But we made it through and now we have until the spring before we have to worry about it again.

Here are a couple pictures that we took at a wedding that Chris was in a couple weeks ago. I really wanted a nice picture of all four of the kids together and it only took about 5 tries and we got a decent one. Also while we were all dressed up I wanted us to have a decent family picture. Naarah just does her own thing but at least she is not crying.

Another fun activity with Grandma. Not brushing our teeth. ha ha ha! Grandma went with us to this years Jack O'Lantern Jamboree at the school. It was a very fun night filled with lots of excitement. Noah and Grandma had the most fun with their teeth and also there was a fire drill that went off during the Jamboree. Just an accident but none the less it was kind of cold outside. But Noah was right on top of that fire alarm since he was just learning about fire safety in school. He made sure him and Grandma got out of the gym safely and quickly. He is one kid you want to have near durning a fire drill, he will get you out fast and safe.

NAARAH'S TOUNGE!!!!!
Naarah has discovered her tounge lately. It is very funny to watch. Along with the tounge she has started making the silliest faces.
I was trying very hard to get a picture of her looking at me with her tounge out but we all know how babies cooperate. The first picture consisted of her taking her puppy and eating the ear. No tounge there.
The next picture was her making the silly face that she likes to do now which is a little blury when enlarged just because I couldn't stop laughing. It was the first time I had seen her make any kind of face like that.
The next Picture is yes HER TOUNGE except that she wouldn't look at me. She just wanted to look every where but at me. So I got the tounge profile.
The picture of Naarah and Nathanael just cracked me up. Each of the kids wanted to have a tounge picture with Naarah but she did her silly face and got a little tounge action all in the same photo. It was amazing.
Needless to say we had a lot of fun with these pictures.

Just some cute pictures of Naarah and Nathanael. Naarah wanted his rice crispy treat but Nathanael would not share. Good thing or that
would be one more sweet thing Naarah likes. Naarah loves Nathanael everytime he is around she is always looking at him. I can't wait until she can talk and is just so over taken by having an older brother. Him and Noah always make her laugh. It is so funny to see them play with her compared to Naomi. Naomi is gentle and the boys are really sometimes quite rough but Naarah still laughs.

APPLE PICKING
This was Naarah first trip outside of mommies tummy apple picking. She had fun. It was actually really hot for apple picking. We do it every year at the same place with friends of ours. So we really couldn't say no this year even though it was the hottest day in Sept. I think! I am not sure how many people were there all together but I can tell you that the kids by far out number the adults. =) Now all that is left is actually peeling and cutting up the apples for the pies before the kids eat them all.
