End School Begin Summer

So I know it has been a while since anything has posted and for that I am sorry. I have now updated all I have for right now. It has been a very busy end to the school year and beginning of summer. The boys are playing baseball and t-ball so we are at the park almost everyday of the week some weeks. We have some exciting things planned this summer as family and then a just me trip. The 30th of June we will be going to see Tony Stewart race again at Madison International Speedway and then July 14th we will be heading as a family minus Naarah to Great America to enjoy a day there. July 19-24th Naomi heads to church camp. Which should be tons of fun for her. She loves to meet new people and it is very easy for her to do so. She is going there not knowing any kids or having any friends but I am sure will come home with a ton of them. Then for my birtday Chris bought me a trip to go see my sister in Texas. =) So I decdied to be there for my nephew's 1st birthday. That will be a great long weekend trip for me by myself. Yup you heard me right- BY MY SELF!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
Onto grades/ report cards:
Naomi: once again did great. She ended the year with all A's again. So for this year every semester she got A's there was not any other grade on her report card for term. YEAH Naomi, keep up the good work mommy and daddy are very proud of you!!!!!!!! Also her test scores for the end of the year were awesome. Her student range score was higher then that of last fall. A couple percents went down just a little bit but she I think that is because other kids' scores went up. But she is still way above the district average even for the percents.
Noah: He also did a great job. He got all S's and one O (outstanding) which came in his math skills. We ended the year on a good reading note with Noah. I was worried about him after his last report card (which was still great by the way) but we have discovered that Noah really does not like reading. So I am trying to get him excited about reading chapter books. It is not working very well. I am trying not to push him but also making him read for me a half hour everyday. 15min in the morning and 15 in the afternoon and if he chooses to read more than great. =)
Ok with all that I think everyone should be up to date on the latest Hionis news.

Random Pictures

Naomi wanted to take a picture of Naarah with some stuffed animals. We got about 10 pictures but these were the cutest.

These pictures were at Canoe Fest fireworks. A Hionis family tradition when it is not raining.

Girls Night

This was our girls night with Auntie Nickie. The boys were gone camping and Auntie Nickie was home so we scooped her up for one last night before she headed back to Oklahoma. Naomi is completely happy whenever she is around. She loves to be with her and hang out with her and visit. So I think Naomi is starting to grow up. Loves chillin with the adults a lot of the times.
