Naarah's pig tales
Sat. I put some pig tales in Naarahs hair for the Hionis Family Picnic. I had to let her eat the comb when I was done because she really does not like getting her hair done. At this point if she does not at least have a barrett in her hair then it is down to her lips. I can't bare to give her a hair cut yet, she is not even a year old. So we opted for the hair goodies. This is the first time I have put pig tales in though. It was quite and expierence.

9 Month Old Naarah
Thurs. we went to the park to hang out with a friend while the big kids were in school. It was Naarah's 9 month birthday so yes, I had to get some pictures. But between the park and her 3 hour nap before hand and then the craziness of getting the kids from school these are the only pictures of her I manged to get. But I think they are cute anyway. She has the funniest looking expressions on her face.
I think they are really funny.

Here are my girls on Labor Day. They were all dressed up and ready for the Holiday. All in all we had a good day. Our friends the Baierls came over for a cook out and the kids enjoyed playing with them. It was a great end to our summer.

First Day of School
So here are pictures of Naomi and Noah on the first day of school. Not sure what was up with the lighting but it was terrible and I realized that I took their pictures in front of my collect all book shelf. So please forgive me but I am not all together with it these days for pictures I guess. Anyway they both have smiles at least and are excited to go back to school.
The kids really like their teachers. Naomi has a male teacher this year. Our first one. She says he is really funny and cool. She likes him right now but we will see what happens when he makes her be quiet and not talk so much. =)
Noah has a girl teacher again this year, Ms. Nowak. She is a brand new teacher this year, just graduated in the spring. She seemed really nice. Noah is excited that his buddy Sulley is in his class again. Well anyway, these are 1st day of school pictures.

Here are a couple pictures from Noah's birthday. He really had a great birthday. I am pretty sure that he celebrated for about a week. His party for his friends was the weekend before his birthday which is when he had his Batman Ice Cream Cake from DQ. He found he was waiting all week for his Speed Racer WII game because he found it the week before his birthday and I told him that IF I kept it that I was not giving it to him until his birthday. So after a week of suffering (thank goodness for Ani sending Carnival Games for his birthday present) he finally made it. I don't know if between that and Carnival Games we have had the WII off except to watch the Nascar race.

Here are a couple of pictures of Naarah I took in the last week. She thinks she is so funny. In the top picture she had the silliest grin on her face and out of about 8 pictures I finally got one. The bottom one she took that dish cloth off my stack of clean dish towels that I just folded and she thought it would be fun to put it in her mouth and chew on it. I couldn't resist.

This is Naarah's first wrestle night with the kids and daddy. She really thought it was fun. She wanted to get in on all the action but some if it was just not suitable for an 8 and a half month old. Daddy has been working out so now wrestle night was much easier for him and they got to play a lot longer.
