Noah and believe it or not Naomi is also in that leaf pile.
Oh look there they are.
There is also Nathanael helping in the leaves. When we get big piles of leaves the kids like to shovel them to the road. It works pretty good except now there is no getting out of shoveling snow. =)
But the proud Mommy moment came when we were raking and almost done with our lawn and Noah looked at me and asked if we could go and help the man across the street. He is an older man and has helped us w/ some shoveling and stuff in the past w/out us knowing. So Noah and Naomi went across the street to start helping him while Nathanael and I finished up our back yard and then we went over to join them. We raked part of the mans lawn for him and the kids really enjoyed it. We were very pleased that we could finally do something nice for someone else without them doing anything in return. It feels good to be able to do that. We would have done even more of his lawn but I knew Naarah would be waking up from her nap and Chris was not doing well so I thought we should finish up the section we were working on and get home to help him. Needless to say I was so VERY proud that my kids were willing to help out someone a little less able then us. It made me happy to help also. They never once asked me how much I was going to pay them or anything so that is even a prouder moment.
Now it is off to showers and getting ready for school. It will be nice that it is a short week this week. I am looking forward to spending some time with the kids. Uno has become our new favorite game to play as of today. That was all we did until raking time.

More Pumpkins
Here are a few of them still cleaning pumpkins.
By the end of the pumpkin cleaning there was only Noah and Grandma left. They were the lonely pumpkin cleaners.

Jack O Lantern Jamboree
Grandma came to town this weekend to visit us. We had a blast. It started when she surprised us on Thurs. night. She was not supposed to be here until Friday morning but she came early. Needless to say it was a little bit later of a night since the kids were wound up and way to excited to see Grandma. Naarah kept calling her Grandpa. It was very cute and funny. Then friday I went to work, kids went to school and Grandma helped watch Naarah while daddy was sick in bed. Then after school we went to Janesville for a little adventure and then home. Sat. we chilled and the older kids had a birthday party for their friends who are twins, and after that we carved and cleaned pumpkins, Grandma roasted the seeds, which the kids and Chris really liked. I keep picking at the ones with less salt, they are good. Sat. after nap time, Naarah woke up with a 101 fever. So she was very clingy and just hanging out rocking with Grandma or sitting on my lap. No Jamboree for her. Then Sat. night Mom, me and Naomi, Noah and Nathanael all went to the Jamboree. We had the sickies stay home together. I haven't seen Chris feel this bad for a couple years now. He has been sleeping as much as he can but still went to work on thur. and Friday. Hopefully tomorrow he will turn a new leaf and feel better. Naarah's fever is gone already today and now she just has a stuffy nose. These were pictures from the Jamboree.

Here is a picture of Naarah, this is a new onsie. I didn't have hardly any long sleeve onsie's for winter so I got a couple
more for her she has been very into Monkey's since we borrowed Ya Ya and Pa Pa's car and they had a monkey on their
key chain. So at least we know what we can get her for Christmas. Naomi did her hair for her that morning before school it
stayed in all day.
