Water Park Fun

We went to the Dells with some of our really good friends for a couple of days ( the yuckiest days of the week sun-tues). We had a great time. We Stayed at Glacier Canyon which is part of the Wilderness Resort. We had a great time. The kids LOVED the water park. We asked Naomi and Noah and Nathanael what their favorite part of the trip was and Naomi and Noah like the Hurricane the best (thrill ride), Nathanael like the raft ride the best. Our whole family (excluding Naarah) could fit on this raft which was for a waterslide. It went through a tunnel so it was very dark and you never knew where you were, then you go under a waterfall and you are at the end. It was great and even better that we got to go as a family. Naarah did not like the first park we went to but LOVED the 2nd one. Which was the one in the picture of her and Naomi together. It was a much more baby friendly part and the water was very warm. Needless to say we had a wonderful time and it was great to be away for a couple of days. The only thing is that vacations never last long enough no matter how long they are.

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids and I went to Grandma and Grandpa Erdmans house for Easter. Yes we left daddy home alone and he really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Next it is my turn. But the kids had a great time. Grandma and Auntie Paula did an easter egg hunt for the kids. It is very fun because their eggs all had paper in them with something that they needed to do in order to get a prize. It was awesome. Naarah is on the bike, that is what she did instead of search for her eggs. She just wanted to ride.

Bragging

Ok so I just could not wait to post this. I got Naomi's report card today and what did I find on it you ask? Well let me tell you.
Reading: A+
Spelling: A+
Social Studies: A+
Science: A+
Math: A+
All the sub categories in all these subjects she has gotten a 4 on which means Consistent/ Strong.

Boy does she make a mom proud or what. Her Music numbers went up and her Art numbers are good also.
She will be taking what is called MAPS testing pretty soon also and last time she did the tests she was in the
upper levels for all of them. Then the kids also have the WKCE profile report on all the testing that they have done
and she was advanced in Reading and Math both. The scores for Reading were between 270-640 and Naomi scored a 497 which
is in the 88% for the STATE not just Evansville. Then for Math the scores ranged from 220-630 Naomi scored 462 which is the 75%
that again is for the STATE not the city, again this fell in the Advanced column.
So I just wanted to say " Way to go Naomi. All your hard work pays off and you are a great and smart kid, and mommy and daddy
love you and are very proud of you."


Pretty soon Noah will have his bragging up here also.

Nathanael Turns 5!!!

This is Nathanael on his birthday. This was the actual Day. He would not take his sun glasses off right away so I thought this was cool.

Yes this Nathanael not Noah I know it is confusing since they are both Tony Stewart fans now.

The Cake and Another Party

Nathanael wanted a Thomas party for his birthday. So of Coarse I waited until very early friday morning to see if anyone had a Thomas Cake. Thank God I only had to go to one grocery store.

But he wanted only a couple of friends also. I am so excited he is not in school yet wanting the BIG party. The 3 friends he had were great. We had a lot of fun. And they were the only 3 kids he actually asked for to come to his party.

He got the Bee Movie which is all he asked for besides a DS. =)

He got some spy Gear and then from his friend Miles he got a Thomas fleece blanket which he has also slept with since he got it and a shorts outfit. For some reason the picture with the blanket won't show up right now. So he was very happy with all his gifts. We have had a lot of fun with the spy gear. We have watched the Bee Movie like 4 or 5 times already.

Nathanael's 5th Birthday

So Nathanael started his birthday celebrations a week early starting with a visit with Auntie Nickie, Uncle Gregg, Ya Ya and Papa. We had a good time. Auntie Nickie made Nathanael a Thomas Blanket. He has slept with it every night since she gave it to him.

Then there was Nathanael's actual birthday, March 26th. I had a friend and her son over for dinner and they brought Nathanael a present. The bull dozer below and also a really cool bubble blower. Which we have gone through a couple of things of bubbles already.

Naarah and Naomi waiting for dinner outside. Yup that is right I said outside. This picturewas taken on one of the days we had that were nice . It was a day Uncle Gregg came over and we all played ball outside and Naarah got to try out the slide. It was fun.

Grandma: What a good sport. She was attacked by stickers and three kids. I wonder if she will come to visit us on Spring Break again.
