Naomi's 6th Birthday

Calgone Take me Away

I need a bath to just take me to another place right now.
It has been a very stressfull week. Last monday we took Nathanael
to the Dr. for his 18mo check up and everything was great. Noah and Nathanael had their
blood drawn to check their lead levels; which are both normal now. Praise God.
Then in the middle of the night Noah woke up complaining of an ear ache. So I took him to
the Dr. again on tues. and there was just fluid in his ears. Then I got home from work on Wed. afternoon and the whole right side of his face was swollen and he couldn't move his neck. It was a week of whining and doing nothing. I was able to accomplish nothing. Now I am playing catch up on laundry and cleanning. Then on Friday night Nathanael decided to start to not sleep anymore so friday night I was up about 5 times w/ him screaming and crying inconsolably and Noah still hurting and whining. Then on Sat. Nathanael only took a 1hour nap and decided to wake up screaming again. Sat. night the same thing so I had to come downstairs with him on the fouton and sleep. Then last night Chris took over and everytime nathanael cried he would go and lay him down and not talk to him. He had to do that like 5 times before we fell asleep and then in the night I had to get up 5 more time. It SUCKED. I am feeling like I did when nathanael was a baby and wouldn't sleep at night. Then Sat. Naomi started getting sick with a cough and runny nose and really watery eyes. So anyway took her to the Dr. today and they think she might have allergies.
Ok so now we are all on meltdown. I must say goodnight and get these little ones to bed.

Naomi turns 6

Well yesterday it was official. Naomi turned 6. She is growing up so fast. We decided not to do much for her birthday this year because Noah got the party and we don't know alot of Naomi's school friends yet. However; she gives out my phone # to her friends and tells them where she lives. No one has showed up yet though. Last night for her birthday, Chris's parents came and Chris's mom, Naomi and I went shopping. Naomi chose Taco Bell for birthday dinner. =) It was really good. Then we went and found some Hello Kitty slippers and some hair ties and a new skirt and Curious George shirt. It was a lot of fun. Then today we went to Madison and headed to Target since that is where all the Hello Kitty stuff is. Naomi, with her birthday money bought a bowl, plate, glass and silverwear Hello Kitty set, she also got a body pillow and for her hat and gloves this winter she got a hello kitty set. They are really cute. So now for xmas she is wanting the hello kitty sheets and quilt. Which will be a little easier for xmas since hopefully by then Nathanael will be out of the crib and in the bottom bunk and Noah moved to the top and Naomi w/ her own bed so she can be girly. She is loving school and always comes home having learned something new. Her teacher loves singing and so Naomi is always singing a new song also. =) The boy are fine. Noah and his daddy are going to change the oil in the white car tonight. So that is all Noah has talked about since yesterday. Nathanael is taking a nap right know so the kids watched Cinderella (new DVD), and I mowed the lawn. =) Then the big kids came out side when I was done and played ball and I trimmed up some trees and pulled some weeds. =)
That is all for now. We will get you some more pictures in the next couple of days. Tonight is oil night and website night for chris so maybe tomorrow night or monday morning for pictures.

Naomi's First Week of School

Hello All,
Naomi has completed her first week of school. She has learned that school is not all about learning abc's and 123's but also about listening and learning to follow directions. Naomi has met some cool kids that are in her class. She sits next to a boy named Garrett who reminds Chris of his brother.

He is so cute and quiet. I was able to spend Tues. with Naomi and was able to see some of the things that she will do in her classroom. Her teacher is really awesome. She sings alot and is good at getting the attention of the children. She is stern when she needs to be and also kind at the same time. Chris and I like her alot. Naomi likes her also. Naomi really likes art class and music class and she has had gym but so far she tells me her favorite part of the day is RECESS of coarse. Who doesn't like recess the best. =)

She is taking cold lunch do the her picky eating habbits and she has been coming home w/ a lot of food after school, so we have talked to her about the importants of eating all your lunch or more than just a 1/2 a sandwhich any way.

Today was my first day of dropping her off and leaving her there. It was difficult but she kissed me and walked up the sidewalk and then she turned around and waved at me. So it made me feel a little better. It is amazing how well the house runs w/ 1 child out of the picture. It is amazing the quiet times that we have and I got all my laundry done, swept the livingroom, kitchen and dining room all in one day. =) I really miss Naomi though but I know she is having great time. I have been reading alot of books to Noah and Nathanael has been napping alot since we have to pick up Naomi by 3:00 he naps now at about 11am since he usually sleeps for 3 hours and today I had to wake him up. Noah and I are enjoying books and cartoons together and he has been doing really well at cleaning up his own toys now also.

Tonight he starts Karate and so I am sure you will see a picture soon of him in his Karate class or his uniform anyway. I will let you all know how Karate went.
