Naomi taking pictures of Naarah wanting to eat a bag of chips. I am pretty sure that is Naarah anyway, with all that hair I can't really see her face to tell. (just kidding). She does not like to keep clips in her hair anymore and trying to get a hair tie in it is a fight to the finish.
Monkey Naarah once again. She climbed under the kitchen bench and table to the other side and then stood there and screamed until someone came to rescue her. Thankfully she has a big sister who helps her out of those jams since all mommy wants to do is take pictures of them.

GREAT HAIR!!!!!!!!!
This is how Naarah looked after a 4 hour nap. I got home from work and was expecting her to wake up because Chris said that she had already been sleeping for a couple of hours. Well about 10 minutes before I had to leave to get the kids from school, which was 4 hours after she had laid down, I went in to wake her up and I wish I would have had the camera with me right then because her hair was standing straight up. I had never seen anything like it before. So I left her in her crib, came down stairs for the camera because there was no way I was letting this hair due go un-noticed by everyone, and then I took her in my room and it fell a little bit by then but you can still get the picture. So anyway later I found out that at one of her meals before I got home from work, that she got food or juice in her hair so that is what helped in it standing straight up.

This was also Naarah on her 11 month birthday. She decided to go for a little walk up the stairs. Naomi is helping her not to fall. What a good big sister. The top picture I loved the face that she made at me. It is so Naarah.

NAARAH 11 MONTHS OLD
This is Naarah today on her 11 month birthday. The first picture is Naarah at 6:00am which seems to be her new wake up time. I also have some pictures of her climbing the stairs which seems to be the new thing for her. We have some friends that said that their 14 month old was all about climbing the stairs and we said "really Naarah wants nothing to do with the stairs." So the next day even already Naarah wanted everything to do with the stairs. It is really cute if someone is watching her but there have been a couple of times in the last couple of days that the kids have gone upstairs and left the gate open and we found Naarah about 3 stairs fromt he top (not bottom) in a matter of seconds. I just can't believe that she is almost a year old. She takes about 3 steps by herself and is always looking for Naomi whom she loves to death. They have a great bond that I hope never goes away. The stair pictures should come in a couple of days.

Parent Teacher Conferences/First report card
Noah just had parent teacher conferences last week. She stated to Chris and I that Noah was doing very well.
He is at a 2nd grade reading level right now so she is taking him and another boy aside to help them develop
more skills when reading and not just reading the words. She said that his recognition of words is very good and
that when spelling starts after Thanksgiving he will be getting the Challenge word list as well as the regular words.
You know I am going to be an awesome speller again in a couple of years between him and Naomi and all these Challenge
words. On all their testing that they did in the beginning of the year, Noah's score over all was a 98%. So needless to say mom
and dad are very proud. He has really grown up between last year and this year. She said that Noah is really becoming a
leader in the class and is a great friend to all the kids. He shows that he cares for them all. Which is nice to hear about a boy.
So really the only thing that Noah really needed to work on was his writing skills she said that he is a typical boy wanting to hurry
through it to get to the next thing.
Naomi had parent teacher conferences at the beginning of Oct. and her teacher said that she is doing very well.
She has been given the challenge list for spelling every week since school started. She has gotten 100% on every spelling
test except one since school started. The only thing that her teacher wanted her to work on is talking to much in class.
But he said that she often finishes her work before others and then gets bored so she talks. She was also picked by
her class to be a peer mediator, so she got to spend a whole day in training so now if there is conflict between some
of her peers she is able to sit in and mediate. She was also moved to the Gifted and Talented reading program 2 days
a week. So that was very special. So I have 2 readers on my hands so far. Which I find to be excellent since their mom
does not like to read at all.
So on to the report cards. They both got them within a day of each other last week. Noah's was really well. His school still
grades with O's, S+, S, I, and N's. So he got 2 S+'s and 4 S's. Which is really great. Reading of coarse was an S+ and so was
Oral Communication. With a lot of sub categories of a + which stands for area's of strength. Naomi's report card of coarse
was great also. She got 2 A's and 2 A+'s. Wit all of the other sub categories all meeting expectations and also consistently strong.
So to say the least these kids have really taken to school. I am glad that they enjoy it right now and hopefully that continues. I have
been very lucky so far to have had almost all great teachers for the kids so that helps a ton.
Well I am pretty sure you are all bored now with my bragging. Sorry if some words are misspelled. I haven't learned all the challenge
words yet (smile).

Here is us on trick or treating night. Pretty warm day. This was at about 5:15pm and by 6:00pm it was dark. We had a lot of fun and the tradition is going TOT with our friends from town. We go every year with them and so we figured why should this year be any different. We got a lot of candy which is almost gone already. It is fun to see everything the kids get. This year dad even got to go with us. It was a pretty special Halloween.

Here are the pictures of the carved pumpkins that we worked so hard to pick from the patch. The first one of all the kids together was them making the same face as their pumpkins. Chris helped them carve them while I was at bible study.

Home Girl Hionis
Nathanael thought it would be fun to put Noah's new hat on Naarah. She actually liked it. Here I didn't think she would be a hat girl.
