Proud of Naomi

So we received a letter and invitation for Naomi to attend a People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C.

She was nominated by her guidance counselor at school because of her academic grades and also her leadership skills. Naomi was very excited about this and of coarse we were also.
What an honor to be able to get. However after receiving the packet and looking into the costs, we are not going to be able to let her go (not sure how I feel about my baby being in D.C. by herself anyway). It was 2300.00 for one week next summer. You have to have the deposit turned in by Nov. 29th and that alone was 300.00. Although we are very proud of our little girl we are also realistic in what we can and can't do. Naomi is sad because she thought this would be a great opportunity which we do also, you could see the wheels turning in her head to find out how she could get the money to go. She is so sweet. Maybe she will be nominated again in future years. So although she will not be able to go, we wanted to share our joy w/ all of you w/ such a great honor that Naomi received.

Halloween

This was at the bounce house at the Jack O Lantern Jamboree. It was Naarah's favorite.
Trick Or Treating. Naarah just started to make that face and it was so funny we got about 6 pictures before she stopped making the face and hasn't done it since. It was so funny and out of the blue.

Trick or Treating w/ our greatest friends.

The human hamster wheel. Noah is running in it. I was kind of far away but managed to get shot of him anyway.
